RE:US natural gas declinesSculpin2, i'm trying to think it out too.
I think good natty market to trade but too many unknowns to go long unless you were there already.
So just some ramblings...
Us side-traders yak about decreased gas production with shut in oil but how much was flared anyway
Us side-New York leading the way to block new residential gas consumption (greenies haven't left)
Us side- lawyers making hay trying to quash hedges and/or take or pay due to 'force mageure'
Canada side- peeps forget how much gas goes to oilsands/thermal for production.the drop in Condi should have been a clue.....
Canada side- BC and Quebec have no clue
Canada side-infrastructure rationalization/optimization (alberta) set back at least a year
World side- new gas supplies columbia/trinidad/Brazil economic to bring on. Same Vietnam.
ngl hard pressed to compete if world quits globalization so.....
Oh yeah,prq board.
Waiting on back up from bdc or some such- revolver (operating line) based on term with review determination end of May.
Way I see it, no guarantee, bank lines get called.
doesn't help the cause that 4.5 mil spent in March so that q2 could be frugal.
I know, not as simple as that but still...
Crew here is young enough to consider banko a war wound.
I want success here because i actually admire mngt but going to be a hard slog.
