I can think of two things;

1. DM trades on the Venture while BLR trades on the CSE.  Some people are just reluctant to dip into the CSE.  Not me, but some are.

2. Previous associations with BM.  Once you pick up that taint it can take a long time, if ever, to go away.  I do hold shares in BLR but not as much as I might with, perhaps, different management.
