Hempdoc.. are you suggesting that Lond on and Novascotia will be closed all through the summer? Unless Theralase has onboarded MD Anderson to the exact same 'ready-level' as London and Novascotia.. it takes months to onboard and ready hospitals.. So i dont quite follow the 'quickly' in the US sentiment. NS The NSHA institution is affiliated with the Urology Department at Dalhousie (“UDD”) University of Medicine, an innovative leader in urological oncology research. UDD evaluates new technologies designed to improve the lives of people suffering from urological cancers. Each year, more than 300 people are diagnosed with bladder cancer and seek attention in Nova Scotia.2 UDD doctors have extensive experience providing quality of care for bladder cancer patients while maintaining an active research role to enhance overall patient care.
Dr. Ricardo Rendon, MD, FRCSC, Professor in the Department of Urology and Director of Clinical Trial of Dalhousie University in Halifax stated that “We are excited to work with Theralase for the NMIBC clinical trial. Tackling cancer is a crucial topic and a priority for this region, and I am pleased that NSHA is able to contribute to the growth of innovative cancer research by taking part in this leading Pivotal PhotoDynamic Therapy (“PDT”) study.”
Shawn Shirazi, Ph.D., CEO of Theralase, stated that “I am pleased to announce the addition of NSHA and Dr. Rendon as Principal Investigator. Dr. Rendon is considered an expert in the field with a clinical focus on all areas of uro-oncology
NovaScotia Coronavirus Data
Id say Novascotia is doing very well.. curve is flattening.. single digits..
No problem to get 4 done in NovaScotia once they can get going.
UHN can take 1 more
McGill 1 more
London can do 2
theres your 20...
I think London & NS will certainly be up & running for the summer. If it weren't for various bureaucracies, they should be up & running yesterday. If up & running in the next couple of weeks, they should hit 20 by fall (w/o US).The US "hybrid" system as Quattro accurately referred to it, is a well-oiled machine as it relates to major cancer centers. MD Anderson certainly doesn't have to wait for stage 4 cancer or death's door to treat. As for USA trial sites, our contracted TMO should have at least 4 sites ready to enroll/treat soon after we get IND approval...certainly won't be months imo.
Appreciate the response.
Yes the TMO agreement is an excellent point. I hope that is a 'force multiplier' when the IND gets approved Theralase would emphasise this TMO and the status of what hospitals are ready to go in the USA, and investors see our 'progress' prior to entering the USA via treatments..
Cheers... time to move that decimal place over from petri dish preclinical -valuations
