Champion Iron Limited is an Australia-based iron ore exploration and development company. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Quebec Iron Ore Inc., owns and operates the Bloom Lake Mining Complex, located on the south end of the Labrador Trough, approximately 13 kilometers (km) north of Fermont, Quebec. Bloom Lake is an open-pit operation with two concentrators that primarily source energy from renewable hydroelectric power. The Company ships iron ore concentrate from Bloom Lake by rail, to a ship loading port in Sept-lles, Quebec, and has sold its iron ore concentrate to customers globally, including in China, Japan, the Middle East, Europe, South Korea, India and Canada. In addition to Bloom Lake, Champion owns a portfolio of exploration and development projects in the Labrador Trough, including the Kamistiatusset Project, located a few km south-east of Bloom Lake, and the Cluster II portfolio of properties, located within 60 km south of Bloom Lake.

RE:RE:Fer à 67.98 % produit par Champion Sawasdeekrab, Difficile de dire combien vaut 1% de concentration supplmentaire. On remarque que plus le prix du fer monte, plus la prime pour du 66% retrecie. Il semble date que la prime optimale se situe dans les cours actuels soit environ 82$ pour du 62% qui donne environ 105$ pour du 66% soit environ 28% de prime. Au printemps dernier lorsque le 62% a monte vers 125$, la prime a fondue moins de 5%. Bref , quanf a monte trop la Chine semble delaisser le 65% et plus et retourne vers le 62% et ce malgr les impacts environnementaux negatifs. Actuellement, le prix avec prime est trs bon, le taux de change a l'avantage de CIA a pres de 40% et des cots de transports plus bas vue la faible activite economique actuelle. La question a un million est de deviner comment se comportera la demande de fer mais galement l'offre suite a la reprise, ces 2 variables dterminant le prix. Cliff avait achet en 2010-2011 cette mme mine de Consolidated Thompson pour prs de 5 milliard us. A cet poque, $ cdn et us presque au pair. Imaginez cette mme transation aujourd'hui avec 40% de taux de change et 450 millions d'actions en circulation... plus de 15$/action. Je crois que CIA va finir par etre achetee par un major quand le prix du fer partira en feu de nouveau. L'important dans l'intervalle est que CIA garde son niveau d'endettement tres bas tout en diminuant ses cots de production pour ne pas se retrouver cash sqweezed si le prix du fer baisse de faon marquee pendant un moment.
