South Eureka (27 m of 5.5 g/t gold)Spent some time digging a little deeper into the Jewel Ridge property, going through past nrs from previous operators (Greencastle, Rainbow Resources and Braveheart Resources).
Anyway… The South Eureka Zone that produced the results I keep posting (incl. 27 m of 5.5 g/t gold) hasn’t been drilled since the 80s as it was tied up in “tenure complications” that were settled in 2012.
Elsewhere on the property, intersections ranged up to 40 m of 2.1 g/t gold. Remember, this is Nevada where profitable mines are operating at 0.5 g/t gold.
Also noteworthy are the replacement “vein type” deposits (predominantly silver) that were the focus of the underground mines. Past intersections of these veins have ran up to 601 g/t silver (21 oz).
Anyway, that’s it for now. Have a good day!
