RE:RE:Decarbonization of natural gasIf the objective is to reduce CO2 we need nuclear. Nothing else can generate the electricity needed to make electric transportation work.
NG is cheap and plentifull (poke a hole in the dirt and light it), which is its biggest advantage.
wind and solar costs are manageable, but require too much specialized (and offshore) tech to be reliable long-term. Plus, there’s the weather factor. Solar is useless in a volcanic winter (it will happen again).

Natural gas works best just the way we are using it now, and will be the go-to energy source until long after I am dead and buried.
