RE:RE:NAFTA Moving Forward In Ukraine, Alongside KUBHuh? Those new licenses that NAFTA bought last year and recently are in Eastern Ukraine, not in the West where the JV is. So that should also mean the activity is heating up around our assets in the east, the ones that actually produce. I wish KUB would sell it's 35% stake in those assets and just focus on the West and RK field. People are still scared of Easten Ukraine, even though things have calmed down for quite some time now. 

But if NAFTA is expanding, that's a good sign. If they had no interest in Ukraine, why would they keep buying leases? This is a multi billion dollar company, why would one dry well scare them? That's ridiculous. The point of that article was that NAFTA is still committing lots of money to the country. Those leases were probably several times more expensive than what it would cost to drill a few more wells.
