aphria cut expenses significantly ,zena 's cut are too small need sig decrease in expenses and with increasing revenue then we should see increase sp
Very astute analysis there, Rosebud.
Zena has (or had) a lot of potential, but a turnaround is going to take a couple of years - and investors are going to have to face the reality that Zena remains in dire financial straits. Some will say that they addressed the short term debt - but all they did was delay it until 2025 - at a loan shark rates. The extra $10 million was not free money - it was a short term loan that has to repaid as soon as their unneeded facility is sold.
Seriously, when you start to sell off your assets .........and don't tell me they didn't need the production acreage because they already have too much for the market demand, because that just tells me there isn't enough market demand to increase revenue.
Seems then that the big question is whether or not they will be able to stay afloat for the time it will take. For myself, everything depends on the upcoming financials and a solid, realistic assurance that things are in place, otherwise - this is dead money that could be used elsewhere.
