Great Bear Resources Ltd. GTBAF

Great Bear Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based gold exploration company focused on advancing its 100% owned Dixie project in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. A significant exploration drill program is currently underway to define the mineralization within a large-scale, high-grade disseminated gold discovery made in 2019, the LP Fault. Additional exploration drilling is also in progress to expand and infill nearby high-grade gold zones, as well as to test new regional targets.

Another 'dork'!

Unfortunately you are wrong. Lookingforclues may be your name but you are certainly not paying attention to any from people who know a lot more than you. Eatmorefibre2 has the correct name for you at the moment, and it maybe should be a ‘deep hole’ as a number of people would probably like to stick all of the core from BR-118 up where the sun don’t shine.

Let’s breakdown where all this comes from. You started on May 08th and when it was suggested that you actually try and get an answer for yourself from GBR, all you could say was ‘they are still in bed’. That was at 9:43am. What a poor excuse.

So on May 10th, you try to come out with the same question, but your questions are always antagonistic in nature. You were repeatedly told answers that made sense, that explained what the best way would be to deal with the drilling in their opinions, and were never told that it was foolish to drill deeper as you state on May 11th. You are twisting their words around to suit yourself.

On May 10th you ask, well, actually you didn’t even ask as there was no question mark, being more of a statement… ‘So you don't think they would bother.....seems a bit odd to some people in the Mining Business!’. And Goaweigh answered you…..’They aren't going to drill blind holes down to 2000 meters just for the hell of it. No doubt they will drill deeper on BR-118 and any other hits like it.’ What part of those two sentences states that they would not drill deeper and that it was foolish to do so?

You then ask….’A question...if they did go further, are they obligated to report the depth and results?

Humour me….ty’. So Goaweigh obliges and humours you. Did his answer say that they would not drill deeper and it was foolish to do so?

CdnBadger also answered your ‘question’….’ You have a target? It's an 18km fault. They're not going to randomly pick a target when they can let the grid drills give them an idea where to do a deep drill that will give them the results they want. It's going to happen when they have a compelling target.’. I say again, where does that state that they would not drill deeper and that it was foolish to do so?

If you don’t want to read what others opinions are, then you should have done what Juiceman49 suggested you do on May 08th. Call or email GBR.

Read through the following posts and think twice before you start posting unnecessary belligerent comments.

Would it be possible that GBR has drilled down much further than stated, and have nit released these figures?

Ceo Board....

'Twas reading the above Board, and what surprises me is that they didnt drill deeper.

WHY?  So much cheaper to do it with the drill there!

I wouldn't be surprised if they did a few much deeper and just sitting on them for now.

Good, or Not so Good!

RE:Ceo Board....

I wonder if they drill deeper, and find something like a "mother lode" whether that might trigger a premature offer for the company, before they finish defining the edges in the other directions.  My take from the communication from management, is that they are essentially confident there is more gold at depth, so why rush to drill deeper.  Better use of shareholder resources to find the edges and link up the big strikes first, get the price up and hit the big zones at depth last for maximum realisation of shareholder value.

'It's best to fence top down and get a handle on a possible source of high grade veins and then drill that, it takes 2x longer to drill to the next fence. So a 2000m shot takes 40 times longer than a 50m shot ! Get the layered fence first and know where to take you best shot.

I am very interested in panel 20600, I think it converges into one system.

RE:RE:RE:Ceo Board....

Flashcash:  Agree.  Much more value in fill-in driling, especially given the potential for high grade veins.  They need to move towards resource definition.  That's where the value is.

Deep holes!

So you don't think they would bother.....seems a bit odd to some people in the Mining Business!

You have the rigs there and 'no exploratory' holes, when The Red Lake Gold area, as CT said can go much, much deeper.

A question...if they did go further, are they obligated to report the depth and results?

Humour me….ty

RE:Deep holes!

They aren't going to drill blind holes down to 2000 meters just for the hell of it. No doubt they will drill deeper on BR-118 and any other hits like it.

No they are not required to report anything deeper than 500 meters because that's considered International space. Canada's jurisdiction, like all other Nations, only goes down 500 meters below surface and anything beyond that is International space and can be claimed by anyone.

Once we hit something below 500 meters we drop a beacon down the hole to safe guard it, 100 meter circumfrence is ours but we don't trigger the beacon until we've drilled off hundreds of holes and we know we actually have an orebody down there. You're not going to tell anyone anything too early. Then once we're satisfied we've discovered everything there is to find at depth we light up all our beacons and then they become registered at the World Congress of Mining and the World knows those are our claims. Everything below 500 meters to the centre of the Earth becomes ours.

If Mining wasn't set up this way you gotta know that if anyone reported fantastic holes below 500 meters the Chinese or the Ruskies would have 100 drills coming up from below and drilling right up everyone's arses and claiming it for themselves. Just like those dam islands the Chinese are building in International waters, those people have no shame.

We could have a massive orebody below 500 meters and we wouldn't even know it, may not find out for months.

There, consider yourself humoured !

RE:Deep holes!

You have a target? It's an 18km fault. They're not going to randomly pick a target when they can let the grid drills give them an idea where to do a deep drill that will give them the results they want. It's going to happen when they have a compelling target. There's a smart way to do it and there's a reckless way to do it. If you know you're gonna do 200 holes (random number) and you know you want 10 deep one's. Unless something comes up that is an obvious target the pragmatic way to do is let the exploration find the juicy targets for those 10. You can't sink the battleship until you find it first. Is it at G4?

CdnBadger/Goaway etal! THE TEST...FAILED!

I ASKED TODAY WHY GBR WOULDN'T DRILL SOME DEEPER HOLES, AND WAS TOLD BY THE ABOVE 2 EXPERTS THAT IT WOULD BE FOOLISH!!!!

Well, well.........They def failed the Test this time.

I would not listen to ANYTHING these two say.    It was a bit of a test.

Now we know that some on here who profess to know about these things, know NOTHING!

Be Careful out There!
