Cypress project advancement...From the Noram test results report that came out in February 2020, it states the following - The pending, final report will be used to update the mass balance in the process flowsheet and complete the remaining step in the Company’s ongoing Prefeasibility Study (“PFS”) on the project. I've never looked closely at the Lithium Projects section in the Cypress website, but the following caught my attention (sure would be nice to show a date when items of importance are added). From reading the below project info copied from their website it seems they are keeping busy, I've hi-lited some of the items. Project Advancement:
Cypress has announced a Prefeasibility Study (PFS) is underway for its Clayton Valley Lithium Project with results anticipated in the 2nd quarter of 2020. The PFS will include infill drilling to upgrade resource categories and optimize the mine production schedule within the initial pit area. Additional metallurgical testing will include determining optimum leach conditions and the configuration of the process plant as well as further testing to demonstrate the production of high-purity lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide suitable for tier one battery usage.
Testing is also underway to investigate rare earth elements (REE), most notably scandium, neodymium and dysprosium, that were identified in solution during the PEA and could be potentially recoverable by-products.
I am frustrated that this PFS document is still not ready, but at the same time do understand the testing complexity that is required. Someone mentioned a while back just take a peek at the LAC Prefeasibility Report on their website to understand what's required..
And yes I own many shares...
Enjoy your weekend.
