Insider buying last week - theories about why.So nice to see some insider buying this past week.
Funny I thought they indicated at Q1 '20 conference call that not much to be expected tlll H2 '20 news wise from the company.
Are execs buying now a good sign?
The volumes / $$ aren't huge though.
So wondering about the following theories of insider buying:
1. Now that reporting season is over, our various officers are buyingwhat they can afford knowing that VQS will be much higher in the near-midterm. The $ amounts bought are small but maybe because these officers aren't rich --- yet! Though hoepfully not poor, they likely aren't independently wealthy like a Warren Buffet or Bill Gates - they rely on their VQS paychques to get by ad they are investing what their personal budgets and investment diversification beliefs allow.
2. Another theory is there is some mandatory share ownership by executive officers that they are now fulfilling to keep their paycheques - either contracturally or implicitly implied. And I wonder if the company has made related party loans to fund these purchases.
I'll admit I haven't had time to research these scenerios and there may be other plausible explanations I'd love to hear.
Happy Victoria Day everyone!
