This is what happens when Companies hire a rent-a-CEO. While a good operator and bean counter, I guess Benson had no abitity to grow SSR to next level, or even had the know how to develop the massive silver reserves, so he sold out. And didn't even get a premium. Lousy.

All those long time shareholders got shafted as there is a big, big difference between US/Canada and Turkey. I know the agrument is that combined the production will get them better attention, but I liked owning SSR as they had a real value that should have appreciated.

Now, one day you'll wake up and find Turkey re-possessing, or ramping up taxes on the gringo-owned mines, so they can feed the people.
