Canopy, Acreage or Terrascend

Canopy, Acreage or TerrascendTerrascend seems to be the livelier company right now but Canopy dropped over $300 million to do the deal with Acreage and the triggering event is shares for shares.  Canopy has to pick up pieces of what it wants or needs to run the show in the US and it has to do that strategically so as not to draw fire from the Feds or Exchanges.  Canopy is active doing that and a lot of those operations that they have eyes on have to be squeaky legal and once removed.  Canopy is choosing legal angles just like the other MSOs are doing with hemp, cbd or pharma operations.  It's the bricks and mortar, fields of green and already established marketing channels and maybe some strains, IP or recipes for value added products that are probably most desirable and Terrascend and Acreage have fingers into different locales.  The way I see it is that despite the thrashing pot stocks have taken in general, the Acreage take out isn't going to require cash, just shares, so it's a no-brainer to me.  They also see Terrascend as an asset and keep in mind, Constellation is in control and they aren't throwing money around now, like Bruce Linton did with theirs.  I'm sure they already have the future planned out because that is what progressive business makers do.  And then they move towards it!  glta and dyodd
