Can't you see it, ole Fett?

You're sliding down , down , down.  Things are getting blurry. Dissolving away into pockmarked remnants of younger days.

Almost the same trajectory as ABX coincidentally.

Look deep into those money pits.  Those mass graves.

Tx

Sorry Tx, the way I see it there has been no significant news in about 2.5 years. Its all smoke. But enjoy the ride.

Fetts

As our lead guitaist Fetts ,you should be enjoying the show along with the rest of the band . I know Jimmy and Gary Thain (Uriah Heep) often played with a ciggy in their mouths ,but just put that cigar out Fetts .You must know ‘Smoke gets in your eyes’. :-))
FW

Name me 1 significant thing reported in the last 2.5 years and I will shoot it down for you fw.

Not avoiding the issue ,but would like to know exactly how you would define ‘significant’ in this particular situation ? Having obtained for example  a resource estimate around 900000 oz  at BC for the nuggety deposit ,obviously very conservative from Simon Dominy is that significant ? Especially  If you recall SD was involved with the Strathcona /Snowden  story ar Pretiums BruceJack deposit where it was concluded that there were no viable resources .  Now thats what I would call a pretty signicant report-observation .  The usefulness of a tea cup is in its emptiness  ,from the point of view of a cup that is ,whilst the usefulness of a cup is in its fullness from the recipients point of view.
Im not sure how you are viewing these reports . Anyway Tx appears to have the bit between his teeth so ‘I hope you dont mind if I sit this one out ‘ just for a moment until I go through all the reports again . I found most of everything significant .!  .  In the meantime ,the sun is out ,Im just out of quarantine and my sun tan has peeled . So just for you Fetts .

I always liked Manfred Mann . Hope you like it . You dont always have to shoot down the plane you know :-))

BC is significant if its profitable at 2.5 gms. I say its marginal at best even if you already owned a mill nearby.

Fetts

Dont forget the mill is only 4200 tpd. Its not like a Canadian Malartic where they make money below that grade but they do 60,000 tpd. Tack on the cost of whatever mill agreement and any mill modifications and it will prbly lose money.

Fetts

Karratha is a joke and Egina marginal is also if they attack the swales with sorters where they lose a part of the grade and slow things down to a snails pace.

I hope TX doesnt work too hard on his thing.

Fetts

Ok Fetts , I cant argue with the tpd ,,but the backstop of Sumi gives a huge cushion on any initial profit loss importance .
They have time there . Now ,I imagine your arguements relating  to BC   assume a gold price of whatever ??
Just lets say that we were in a gold bear market at the moment ,would you have changed any of your observations ?
My point being ,the backdrop massively points to a hugely increasing price  of gold . Would you concede that that ihe probabilities
are that the price of gold will be far higher as we go further ?  Therefore your probably lose money comments may not be valid .?
Should we not see the future early when it may be right infront of our eyes ?
I still think going into production  as soon as possible ,even if small loss as you say would be the correct move in THIS Very EXTRAORDINARY  CASE .
There can be method in madness sometimes .  Sometimes I dont think ! I feel !!   Surely if marginal  ,the timing could not be better to go for it .
Pretium have proved their critics wrong so far . Those that have continually bet against it have been burnt . You have to trust management
in a situation  like this . They have got the right backers to see this through  what other junior has this type of backing ?
FW

Name any project that looks interesting and they have a backer whether its a financial institution or a major mining company.

White Gold has Kinross and Agnico, Wm has KL and Sprott, Ivan has the Chinese and the Japanese, Btr had KL and Sprott co and Sprott, Osk has Kl, GBR has McEwen and on and on. Every single project of merit has a backer with deep pockets. Usually they dont do it in the form of a loan that can be converted to shares though, thats an even worse arrangement.

Who knows what gold will do. I believe it will continue to rise so yes that would help nvo and perhaps make marginal ground economic, but everything is relative as it would make current projects that are economic at these prices even more economic so one of those that can also expand reserves through explo would be preferable to nvo.  Even if its low grade, like dgc for example, now KL. The potential is there for ozs for the next 100 years or more. They are presently mining, have a mill, have permits, equipment, people, so they are a better choice. One doesnt need to risk it all on a higher gold price.

No I dont think its good to go into production if you are going to lose money. You are better off to wait. Or better yet, find something that is economic today.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so a video is worth 100,000 words. Here you go, this is what milling with sorters looks like. Dribbles coming out the other end. Have WG or the Mitball ask nvo at how many tph the sorter was run at in the lab to get the results they did. I bet it wasnt at 40 tph. And they still lost a portion of the gold.

Fett

I can see what you are doing btw. Working with TX and drawing my arguments out of me so he can slay me in the end. I might have to bring in the bass player for support because Screech sure as hell is not on my side:)

Fetts

The plan btw is to get the use of that mill and then use sorters at Karratha, Egina and anywhere else to produce concentrate and add to what being passed through with BC material. So those dumbass machines will be used everywhere but at BC.
