BTU Metals Corp. is a Canada-based junior mining exploration company. The principal business of the Company is the exploration of mineral properties. The Company's main assets are the Dixie Halo Project located in Red Lake, Ontario immediately adjacent to the Great Bear Project and the Echum and Hubcap properties in the active Wawa gold district. The Echum and Hubcap properties cover more than 750 mining claims over a total of 16,048 hectares. The Company also has an option agreement to acquire 70% interest in and to over 757 mining claims (12 boundary cell mining claims, three multi-cell mining claims, and 742 single cell mining claims) in the Kenora District of Ontario.

RE:RE:RE:Got Clobbered This MorningIf you read through the new release carefully, I believe it is because the drill assays we and most were waiting for in the dixie creek area, failed to produce anything: 

Great Bear Dixie Creek Area and Other Target Areas

Core drilling in the northeastern corner of our property near the projection of the LP Fault have contributed significantly to the geological understanding in an area of the property where the bedrock geology is completely masked by glacial overburden cover. While drill holes BTU-20-34 to BTU-20-40 did not intersect significant gold values, several of the holes intersected strong shearing, quartz carbonate veining and sulphides including pyrrhotite, pyrite and including occasional arsenopyrite. Drill hole data is being evaluated and will be used to help construct parameters for the next phase of exploration work in the area.
