After the tax break the buyer is out of pocket something like $0.65 to $0.75 per share, depending on their tax situation. Not likely to have any impact on anyone in the mood to short. OTOH, when they become free trading there may be participants who were just looking for the tax break, who dump the shares.
That being said, the premium to current market looks reasonable, and the absence of warrants is a sign of strength. Recently I was critical of a PP done by another junior I own (MOZ), and was called names for my criticism. There they took a 10% discount to current market, and gave warrants, when they didn't need cash at the moment, on a superb project that is past the PEA stage. Management here has done a MUCH better job. IMHO.
