RE:RE:re: starlight deal

RE:RE:re: starlight dealThanks May.

I agree that this sounds very safe in terms of closing (but I am one very cautious fellow).

Still seems odd on the current price but you might be right that lots of people aren't satisfied with an 11.7% return in ~4 months. (includes the 4 more divy payments).

Take care

If majority thought deal was not going through then the price should be somewhere around $20 (considering discount to updated NAV).

Most of the hurdles seem to be clearing one by one. These guys are too experienced to have any issues for cash needed especially since most of the apartments are going into their funds for pension clients.

Best time to cash in on the announcement works most times especially for those who sold Cineplex.

Hopefully Dad says this is one of those things in the market where logic may not hold all the time.

Time will tell and Timebuilder is also on our side :-)

Thanks for that. First off, congrats on your 10k shares

I really find this very confusing as to why the stock price is down this much for the offer price. It really doesn't make sense.

Anyway, I decided to finally tip my toe back in and just bought 1000 shares at $32.95. If something does go wrong on the take-over, I'll still be fine just holding NVU as I've always liked it.

My wife and I had originally bought in Nov 2015 at $18.25 and sold our 3200 shares at $36.48 just after the take-over news (one of my investing guidelines is to sell when a take-over offer is announced).

Anyway I guess I'll have to go against one of my Dad's teachings "if it looks to good to be true, then it probably is".   :-)

Take care

Approved by 99.69% of ALL unitholders so safe to say Starlight and affiliates all votes Yes.

What do you say Sarge. Are we good or too good to be true ? I am at 10K shares so better go through lol :-)
