release it's quarterly earnings at midnight on a Friday night before a long weekend?
A couple of reasons come to mind that have been discussed - A) a reputable company wouldn't and B) the company wants the bad news to at least partially blow over before open on Tuesday. The pumpers can pump - and drive up the sp (for a couple of days) before it falls back down to where it probably should be. tsk.
And would a reputable company delay it's annual meeting until 'sometime in the second half' - and would a reputable company (legally or not) 'delay filing it's executive compensation disclosure' until a date is deteremined for the annual meeting?
Get your heads out of your a**es, boys. GLTA
