RE:LET'S HAVE A VOTE! Lol

RE:LET'S HAVE A VOTE! LolHey Vinmick, yes I think that if they could, they would sell it. Gary, Jim and Greg are not getting any younger - and Vic sadly passed away last December. The team is far more focused on IMT and BEA, alas. I guess the question might be who really controls it? Gary has stated previously that he thinks it's worth somewhere around 30 cents a share. The mgmt team spent years trying to convince people that Swamp Point was worth picking up now, rather than later. We can all remember Company NR's that pumped non-existant LOI's etc. In addition, the mgmt team proved unable to win the bids for the port expansion, or the rail lines, or anything else for that matter.
By the time the LNG farce came to its sorry conclusion, Greg's phone calls were becoming both desperate and somewhat pathetic.
Now, if any of the proposed pipeline routes along the Portland canal or the Portland inlet had gone ahead, HBK would likely have seen significant demand for its aggregate products - not sure what the future prospects are for those, probably low to non-existant.
I always found it a little odd that Polaris was brought out by US Concrete for about $300 million, when Swamp Point was so close by.  Certainly, US Concrete could have had Swamp Point - a permitted & proven resource - for a fracton of that. and that was after Vulcan had submitted a bid for Polaris - I've wondered why Viulcan didn't then pickup HBK? It's not like Swamp Point is that much further away from the US. Feels like retail shareholders are not privy to all the info, no?
