Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Aphria is “halting” further investment and not pulling out

Savage97 wrote: LOL at all the posts by shorts and ACB/WEED bag holders wishing that Aphria is pulling out of Jamaica and LATAM.  The Forbes article clearly says halting further investment which means the current revenue generating assests will be maintained.  ACB and TGOD have pulled out which is actually good news for Aphria.

With Covid destroying tourism, I can see Aphria suspending Jamaican operations.

Priority will be building out the Colombian cultivation/extraction/processing and the clinical study for treatment of epilepsy in Argentina.  Successful results from the clinical study could be a game changer.  Scientific proof of cost effective, beneficial treatment of epilepsy would make demand for Aphria full spectrum Rideau CBD oil explode worldwide.

I do not know what kind of results they are actually experiencing in the study.  These controlled studies take time and money and the bigger the sample size the better.

If the results are good.......it is going to get great for Aphria.
