Miners resume operations in Peru! I found this article from May, one month ago, my understaning is that we may be very close to getting the green light for going back to the properties! Once that is announced, I believe we are a head of the game, we have a full team, ready to go so were not waiting on trying to figure out how to get our people there, they are there. As per Ivans last interview, they are well organized, a lot of ground work that may have taken a lot of time is more than likely completed. So....going back to a few pod casts this week, Ivan earlier in the year was hopeful drills would be on the ground in June/July. Really, we are on schedule! Cashed up, vs some who are still trying to rasie capital. MIlestones to follow:
1) Peru - re opening and green light status
2) Men/women deployed to the two properties
3) Drills Truning- news for months to follow ( stay tuuned & tuned up)
4) Possibly a new player to the table, credible, industrial & knowladgeable in that region working to assist the existing team with feet on the ground ( the guys that have been there, done that! ) Im refereing to the Newmont 19.9% stake.
5) Podcasts showing the CB highlights and what 2021 drill program will look like.
6) The elusive SPINCO, can it & does it happen? ( BIG ?? )
7) If this does, as has been talked about over many months and many podcasts, THIS WILL BE THE ONLY STORY, with massive traction.....PERU, is elephant country! Any one know of another company talking about splitting their assets? For teh benefit of all?
If SPICO happens, what is the real value of Homestake?
J 103 My bet, go long, once possesed, it becomes conviction, Ivan, has all the atribues of becoming one of the top junior miners
in his age catagory, period. He has the shareholder registry, a significant team ( more coming ), money.....and sound stake holders ( US ), its why this stock has not sold off, becasue were all beyond believers, given time, the AGM will be more about a party then the 4-8 mins to conduct business.....
"Through supreme decree N° 080-2020-PCM, the Peruvian government authorized mining operators to resume activities as of May 2, 2020.
According to the decree, miners are allowed to exploit, refine, store and transport minerals and metals, as well as go on with construction projects and mine closures.
Industrial activities were halted in the South American country in mid-March due to the covid-19 pandemic. The resumption of operations is going to be done gradually, with a first phase starting in May and ending in August.
During this initial trial, companies are obligated to implement strict health and safety protocolsthat prevent the spread of infections. Health authorities will conduct regular inspections in plants and mine sites to monitor compliance.
Besides the mining sector, which is responsible for 60% of all exports in the world’s No. 2 copper producer, industrial fisheries, suppliers for the agricultural sector, and the chemical, metal, forestry, paper, glass industries, among others, were allowed to restart.
