Diamond & Specialty Minerals Summary for June 10, 2020

2020-06-10 20:00 ET - Market Summary

by Will Purcell

Edward Lee and Sam Ataya's Western Magnesium Corp. (WMG), up one-half cent to 13.5 cents on 191,000 shares, is "working hard and diligently driving forward on its path to achieve its projected milestones and deadlines" at its pilot plant to produce magnesium metal -- hopefully late this year if all the beavering and driving keeps the company on schedule the rest of the way. Mr. Lee, executive chairman, and Mr. Ataya, president and CEO, say that they are currently in the second of two phases of construction. The thickness of the prose is usually a reflection of coming worries. Indeed, their crew intends to "continue to focus on deliverables as they drive towards the buildout" of the plant.
