I cannot possibly sell. It would be terrible to sell after twenty years and then see the buyout one month later!
So I'm stuck with a crappy company that has terrible management and few legitimate prospects. I'm sure this happens all the time.
Can't you just write off the loss? No one is ever married to a stock as when its time to dump we do it and move on. I will hold til end of year then if they still are increasing shares will move on. Eventually they will do another RS and will spin it anyway they want. Such as many other companies do.
