Agoracom Q&A
Good Day Peter,
Job well done. A big congrats to All @ PYR too.
With your R & D work for plasma torch capabilities in the Boring biz, is there an opportunity that your work in this field can be readily used in the Industrial Burner field? Thus expanding even more opportunities in Industrial Burners.
Perhaps a range of torch strengths is best at a later date ?
Concerning the physical size/shape of the plasma torch ( 900kW) when replacing far larger strength fossil burners in various industries. Would there be any issue with replacing the present # of fossil burners with a greater # of your plasma torches ?
Best wishes to All, good health,
Sincerely,
Topseeker
Hi Topseeker,
Good to hear from you again.
The tunneling torches can indeed be used to replace industrial burners. The basic torch is identical, with only the umbilical and torch body materials changing depending on the application.
We are planning to have several standard high power torches, each at a different range of power, as commercial offerings which will address the vast majority of the needs of the iron ore industry.
…and yes… it is also possible to use multiple torches to replace 1 burner…(and that, may I add, was a very very good question).
Hope that helps,
Peter
