RE:Any update from those on the ground?

RE:Any update from those on the ground?Based on news being released today, the final report from the CARICOM observers and follow up statements by the OAS (Organization of American States) strongly convey the PPP won the election. Moreover, call for transition of the government to begin.

The GECOM chair (Claudette Singh) is likely to make a formal announcement tomorrow (16th of June).

We will see what happens over the next few days - but, a good step in the right direction given the independent observervation team (CARICOM) concluding the election re-count has reflected the will of the people. Moreover, the re-count was done in a transparent and verifiable manner and going beyond counting votes - but, also auditing the ballots cast in the election.
