RE:RE:RE:Apple Can't Escape $85M WiLAN Patent Verdict Law360 (June 15Astutein, check out Docketbird order 904 for the exact ruling. Order 904 says that Apple's JMOL is denied and that Wilan is awarded pre-judgement and post-judgement interest. The order doesn't specifically say that the $85 million jury award is unchanged but it's clear that the Law360 article believes that is the case. The final judgement still needs to be entered and Apple will have 30 days from the final judgment being entered to appeal. You're correct that we will likely now see Quarterhill filing an infringement case for the iPhone 8, 9 and 10 models.
