US$ dollar getting wobbly

US$ dollar getting wobbly

Stephen Roach, the former Morgan Stanley Asia chairman, says the US dollar is in trouble and is set to plunge, boosting safe-haven bets like Bitcoin (BTC) and gold, The Daily Hodl reported.

Appearing on CNBC’s Trading Nation, Roach says the rapidly changing world amid the pandemic, along with the US effort to push back on globalization, as well as the massive US budget deficit, will combine to drag the dollar down.

Roach suggests now is the time to warn investors about a potential dollar crash as the world’s reserve currency may be facing the end of an era.
