RE:bell

RE:bell

in my opinion, NO chance. Let us analyze the situation.

More than a year back Bell invested $1M in BEW and got a seat on the board. Since than never heard Bell giving any support or special treatment to BEW. For Bell, BEW is just another device suppliers.

On the otherhand Telus & Roger in Canada and other mobile providers in US will be skeptical of BEW as Bell will know who is selling how many devices and at what prices. Have you ever heard a mobile provider selling their own competitors products.

Another points is that Bell has only about 40% of market share and Canadian Mobile market and Canadian market is not more than 10% of US market so Bell has only  less than 4% mobile market share of North American. That makes Bell share as 4K if BEW is selling 100k per years.( so far BEW has not sold 100k devices in any one year)  Even if BEW hits 250K devices per year, Bell shares will b only 10K or $ 0.5M. Even not peanuts for Bell.

For me it was a bad deal to begin with. The only justification for BEW to go with Bell may be to get investor confidence in the company

Any thoughts on any chance Bell buys BEW?
