RE:RE:Zoom Stockholder question and answer video conferenceWill add to what Clipper said, wrt “How badly the virus ‘may’ have affected sales”…
On c19 ;
- Are additional plant precautionary procedures been necessary or are being considered? Nature of such? Has production ramped to stockpile V2O5…to make up for a rainy day… What’s that story
- To what degree has transport processes been affected. Contingency measures deployed by Brazil gvt… by Largo??
On compensation:
- Agree with Island’s drum beat on this one; compensation options based on sales and sp for some average period.
- Exercising of options should have a set of Largo-set guidelines intended to suit both the employees and shareholders
On sp :
- Why on earth is the sp where it is, recognizing that V prices have not collaborated of late. Why is NOTHING being done to promote the company, ie take the presentation to another level…
- A Marketing director may be needed (although I hate the thought of ‘more’ compensation). The MD would be extremely articulate in at least 3 languages – English, French, Portuguese, and perhaps in Spanish, Italian and some Chinese as well… The candidate would be ‘the mouthpiece’ in every imaginable Mining conference… ‘presenting’, not just enjoying the wine and cheese. He would be putting the word out, selling and providing all the elements of Vanadium’s wide array of uses and advantages. His pay would be commission-based and volume sliding scale based so that Largo and shareholders know that when someone is compensated with a $1 that the candidate likely brought in something like a new/fresh $100 for Largo… Might this Paul Vollant’s current job that I’m barking about….an in-between Paul V and Francesco D?...or not?? Regardless something needs to change or convince shareholders otherwise.
- Selling options at a time when the sp is low needless to say brings up acid reflux – KHA, SK and JCW (and others) have stated their views on this.
- Much the contrary, this is a time where buying should be evidenced - from insiders. For the record, I bought a bit more this Friday… which demonstrates that I, like others here, have NOT lost faith – BUT – are now uncomfortable enough to demand change for the betterment of Largo and shareholders alike. We also want Largo to reach MORE clients, sell more V, maintain the V quality and somehow impact the V use through the marketing loudspeaker effect (not cheesy either)
On being a V loudspeaker :
- Largo has to help to get the V word out…or at least help those that are already somewhat convinced of the V story.
- Largo should be constantly looking for ways to make available vanadium for experimental reasons – to further the advancement of the industries that use it. EV manufacturers should be asked the opportunity to have Largo prove V’s value. V has to find its place in the energy domain with more prevalence. Universities should be testing VRFB-based systems…vs Lithium vs Iron Oxide…
- A research-based presentation may ALSO be needed in conjunction to the soon-to-be DYNAMIC corporate one ( a la Jervois Mining…).
