RE:Leave to AppealSure, why not? No doubt he heard the epic tale from the main actors, asked enough appropriate questions, reviewed what he felt he needed to review, and then presented a fee structure reflective of what he was being asked to do.

I imagine that the majority of lawyers taking on cases do so with a reasonable expectation of winning (except perhaps JGT or public defenders in certain high crime environments). That being said, anybody might be willing to take on a case even if the odds appear to be stacked against them - as long as the price is right.

I for one, am looking forward to seeing the strategy unveil itself in a few months.
