I'm canadian,
We don't speak english in canada which is strange. We don't know how that
happened.

A computer is translating what I do speak into english. The only english word
we know is pity or blooming pity. People from the rest of the world know how
hard it is to do business with us, usually with the same reply - Pity.
Now you do too !!!

This is what your complaint sounds like to us until we here Pity or blooming pity.

All we can do after that is smile.

We don't know how everything works. Computers are doing everything. They
stick their metallic hands up our backs and answer for us. They are such jokesters.
I don't think humans are in charge in canada.

Computers don't like canadians either. I don't think computers like people or biological
androids, in general.

Sorry !!!!

Fascinating and great post though !!!!!

Tea Time.
I saw your ads from Rose Tea.
We happen to have an account with Rose Tea.
As with many things, we usually order a case at a time,
But in our US Rose Tea is supposedly not the same as the Canadian
It is called Rose Tea - Black in the USA.
It is called Rose Tea - Orange Pekoe in Canada.
-
I was surprised to find the imported Canadian version at Amazon for a five-dollar premium.
I just ordered some, and we are looking forward to our coming tea test party.
-
Orange Pekoe is not a type of tea, but it is the highest grade of tea.
What is Rose Tea’s secret?
They seem to have the knack of picking the highest quality tea consistently.
That is why people prefer it.

My experiences in dealing with clerks in Canada seem scripted by Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Forgive me, but much of what I have learned about Canada came from South Park.
Apparently the wheels on Canadian cars are square, and its leaders are comical lunatics.
-
So I will try to say a few nice things, among many others, that Canadians can be proud of.
-
Apparently, surprising some, Nova Scotia chose not to be the 14th American colony in 1776.
-
The situation with it Native Americans is from a different planet.
Instead of ‘ethnic cleansing’ like in the US, the Canadians stressed getting along.
The ‘pi_ssed’ Indians helped stop the US invasion of Canada in 1812.
The amount of Canadian militia and British troops were quite limited.
The US though it would be a cake walk, but the Indians behind every bush helped save Canada.
The US was big enough to be able to keep a standing army to pursue its ethnic cleansing policies.
Canada was not big enough to support such a standing army, so they simply figured out how to get along.
-
I could go on with these points - perhaps another time.
-
In closing, I salute the Canadians for having the courage to stand up and say out of the Vietnam fiasco, and for providing a sanctuary to those courageous US youth with at least half a brain.
