Theralase Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based clinical-stage pharmaceutical company. The Company is engaged in the research and development of light activated compounds and their associated drug formulations. The Company operates through two divisions: Anti-Cancer Therapy (ACT) and Cool Laser Therapy (CLT). The Company develops products both internally and using the assistance of specialist external resources.

You deserve a research recognition reward yourself : ).  I just felt a little blind-sided initially by the news, not realizing it was such a "recent collaboration"...Yep, should hear something next week.

I always thought our compound/TLD-1433 was the primary key to our success/wealth.  It's not the source of activation, despite its exquisite nature.  In the end, low-cost & simplicity/ease of use (outside of efficacy) are primary determinants in the broad acceptance of any therapy.  I will gladly accept any collaboration that perfects/simplifies cancer treatment (like the OSA in this instance).  And having patent protection for x-ray/other activation sources would certainly put Theralase & shareholders in an even sweeter position.
