Whether H is considered a green / greener gas has its debate points. Yes it burns clean relative to other fuels but the industry it takes to produce H has its environmental downsides as well.   There's also the challenges of storage, transportation etc - it's not inert.  I encourage PYR shareholders to read up and perform their own DD.

From an area re-classification perspective the retrofit to use H would not be simple.  H is far more volatile and demands a higher standard (see Article 500 of the National Electrical Code).   In Canada it means the difference between Class 1 Div 1 Groups BCD (where B includes for Hydrogen) and natural gas is covered by the lower standard D.  Using H to fuel burners not normally designed for using it as a fuel source would likely take significant $$ upgrades to ancilliary equip, and possibly higher insurance premiums due to increased operating risks.
