6) The company does a PP and gives away stock at half its market value to raise cash just to keep the lights on but the PP causes the SP to be cut in half.
7) You are now a bit fearful because you are now in a loss position and the penny stock company still has no cash and needs to do another massive PP just to stay alive but you hold on.
8) The company however is still pumping or NR's and "fake news" about how in just another 3-5 years things are going to be fantastic. Paid pumpers on stock boards will tell you the same.
9) You are very skeptical now and your gut tells you that this is a scam and other people on stock chat boards are telling and showing you it is a pump and dump scam but your greedy mind won't let you sell.
10) The whole thing gets exposed as a pump and dump scam and goes crashing hard possibly into bankrupty and you lose everythinig while the insiders and PP holders have ran away with your investment by selling early leaving you with an empty bag.
