court hearing

court hearing
A few observations after wathcing the court hearing:

1. The process is fundamentally flawed because nobody represents the interests of the shareholders. The shareholders could have gathered together and hire a lawyer, but they're an amorphous group without leadership. Also, in a situation like this, they are unlikely to spend the money.

2. Why should the court absolve officers and former officers of liability to shareholders for their negligence?  Unfortunately, to avoid that happening, the shareholders would have had to hire a lawyer who would have filed material detailing the alleged negligence.

3. A class action in Armenia seems to me unlikely to succeed. I would think any cause of action resides with the company, not the shareholders.
