RE:RE:RE:RE:AIDEA Renews Commitment to UcoreAbsolutely, sometimes good DD cannot anticipate seller's remorse or other unanticipated issues. So in looking in another area of issue regarding IBC Dr Hammond lawsuit, I read the so called expert declaration.
- not economic value for Bokan Mine. None of the REE mines are economical during that time, especially when China is subsidizing the REE separations and reduce cost to cornor the market. Why do you think MP has to close down and not having REE facility and mines.
- Value of Bokan mine is negative during life of mine. Same reason above, if you have subsidy like China mine or cheap labor (no pay) and no environmental issue maybe REE mines here will be competitive.
- Realistic environmental studies, permitting, regulatory filings, will require 6 to 10 years at minimum. Didn't someone posted that was one of the issues we have in North America is taking way too long for getting approval? How is that specific to Bokan mine? This Dr is suppose to be an expert and he use this as an issue.
- Previous Uranium mining operations between 1957 and 1971 contaminated soils, mine need cleanup and other remediation costs. Shouldn't federal and state need to contribute for this cleanup? They should fund Ucore to cleanup that mess, which should be done anyway.
- The technology assumed in the PEA is largely unproven. Therefore, the risk of the plant as described suffering significant start-up and performance problems is very high. LOL, they just bashed their own technology MRT, and yet IBC wrote a white paper saying there technology is sound...so they lied too. But now it is a none issue as UCore will be using Rapidsx.
Plus, let's say the Bokan mine is not economical, okay, fine.... the plant can take all type of feedstocks from anyone who has it. I have always said Bokan mine will take too long with permitting etc....so don't depend on it. This is obvious a hit piece from IBC. This Dr. Hammond is no expert if that is all he has against Ucore.
