RE:RE:Burners I agree no one wants to burn the nessecary evil (oil) it's just it WAS the most cost effective until PYR came along. Sadly power generation is the only application that we will never see the torches utilized as a burner replacement as they are electrically driven. They would need to be at least 101% efficient to be useful which is impossible. Energy can not be created nor destroyed only transferred and this case there would be loss of effiecancy thus using more power than generated. The good news is Peter has hinted that they are developing a process that could destroy co2 which could allow power plants to reduce or eliminate their emmissions using their current fuel while they transition to clean energy. There are plenty of burners for pyr to replace with out power generation plants, more than enough to make us all very very rich.
