I think its an amazing deal. Considering we made money relative to the cash Emblem gave, and got back more value in shares of Aphria. Its quite possibly the powers that be holding this in place until the right time to blow the lid off. Can only hold a good company down so long before the market has no choice but to reward it. And frankly, the more Aphria run's the better it is on Aleafia's pocket book with all dem shares.
Aphria is running on news of the potential merger with ACB, which in my and many others opinions is a means for ACB to keep the lights on for a few more quarters hoping for the market to come back. I think the merger will create one of the dominant players, but at the expense of Aphria shareholders. Whats interesting to note however, is that with a major M&A in the industry like that, I wouldnt be suprised to see some of the other bigger players look to consolidate as well. And if they're gunning for profitable companies with scale like Aphria, then I dont imagine we're far off the map considering our recurring growth QoQ and the explosive potential we have with this years outdoor. Remember, out of the three companies that did it last year, we did the best. We are a force to be reconed with so long as Lucas is at the helm of the outdoor, and frankly, I think as Benic says time and time again, 'the best is yet to come'. I'm looking for major S/P appreciation once they announce the yeild from this year. Looking towards Q4. Many irons in the fire at the moment.
Bingo! AH Looong!!!
