It's like they want to constantly find someone to blame. That's BS. I even wonder whether many posters know what shorting is. Also, there is nothing wrong in shorting. If a stock is totally overvalued, then it deserves to be shorted. I have no problem doing it. I hold a very large long position in Sona. I'd have no reservation in shorting this stock if it becomes incredibly overvalued while holding a long position. It is legitimate way of making money. Shorting can be misused, just like any stock market activity.
