RE:Coordinated Short Attack

RE:Coordinated Short AttackInterseting on the short levels - Makes total sense.

2 reasons for someone to constantly bash and down-play a stock as well as attack the management and directors of a company like FCU.

1. Personal - either Dev dissed or dismissed a person in business dealings (layed off/fired employee - or some unfullfilled business dealing promise?) or dated their mother or girlfriend/wife.  The level of "hate" is obviously emotional at times - so there is a personal vendetta involved.  Don't let anyone lying about being a "white knight" and a crusader for shareholder rights or being protective of the little guy consumer fool you - especially when the evidence is all over stock forums and twitter that people making such claims have ulterior motives and are long either rivals or finding FCU an easy target for their shorting scheme.

2. Financial.  All about the money.  There is a many-year history of shorting and penny flipping/trading this stock - which has always resulted in those involved in that trying to prevent merger or being against a reverse share split, etc.   There was even a takeover of the board attempt a number of years ago.  This group still lurks around.  The recent constant drivel on stockhouse by long-time negative bashers (either multiple ID's of an individual or two or a co-ordinated group).  WHY? would anyone spend SO much time and energy creatively casting doubt and potentially taking on legal liability with this level of misleading and slanderous insinuations - UNLESS there was potential financial gain?  The LEVEL of negativity WITHOUT any CREDIBLE evidence seems like obvious proof that certain elements out there want to either control the FCU asset or limit its success becasue they are heavily invested in rival NXE (NXE is a superb deposit also - so maybe they hedge by shorting FCU and promoting being long rival NXE).  The theme remains the same - Dev is bad (then it started to leak over to Ross and Rob Chang are also bad/evil/incompetent, etc) - but the deposit is ok.......HA -- NOBODY in this world has the time to spend on penny stock and obscure/marginal/sketchy mining stock blogs without having an agenda and potential money to be made.  Oh yeah, obviously if you are trying to oust a Dev or a board and make a few dollars at same time by shorting the heck out of something - the volume of negativity is going to go up - we sure have seen that.

Try to ignore the fluff and misdirection out there.

The future - FCU plans to continue to move towards feasability study - AND - IF the market conditions warrant it, try to convert the 33 Million inferred pounds in RE to Indicated .......
- that requires drilling - which requires money - and FCU has been pretty responsible for 2 years not drilling while solid drill results doesn't move share price - YES, thereby falling well behind NXE in terms of increasing total size of deposit.

IF - and when - Spot and contacted prices start to get to more profitable levels (much closer now than 6 months ago - for all U companies) then things will likely move - until then - penny pinching and doing the grunt work of progressing on the Environmental and Indigenous relations fronts and the Feasability study modelling continues......

Whatever the exact strategy was of the massive negativity campaign here and on twitter/blogs etc - the AGM and Special GM went on and everything Dev and Ross and the Board wanted - happened.....so a fail/waste of time in that regard.

Yeah, the shorts and flppers might be costing a few cents on the share price for now - but that won't mean much if U stocks in general take off - looking at charts - they are all pretty much the same.

The key for longs of FCU going forward is to support ways of continuing to improve economics, derisk, and eventually - when U prices make it prudent - increase the high grade/shallow pounds for the Feasability Study economics = NPV and IRR improve.    Hopefully this involves partnering with NXE on mill - and sharing other expenses to create win/win situations.  Or at least, if a merger would be considered, to make FCU shareholder in less of a subordinate position.

FCU can only control their own actions on the micro level - based on what is happening on the macro level (which continues to improve - albeit more slowly than any U long likely wants)....

Just some thoughts of mine - haven't posted much here for a long time - but have continued to build FCU and other U positions - as I continue to think sentiment and supply/demand fundamentals are improving for nuclear.
