RE:My previous 2 posts pretty much confirm ....Foof, I believe The alliance allows Lmnl inside because it is willing to collect plasma from people who have had Covid which can then be used to manufacture a hyper immune containing Covid antibodies.
What is interesting is that the alliance includes all the big players in plasma proteins, including ivig.
In such company, I wouldn’t be surprised if interest will be expressed in Ryplazim in the treatment of acute pre-ventilator Covid cases. A separate set of clinical trials could be initiated immediately with Lmnl supplying the plAsminogen and be completed by the time Ryplazim for CD use is approved by the FDA. Not impossible this
It is also not lost on me that it is likely one of the companies in the Alliance that will likely purchase the Ryplazim platform at some point in the future after regulatory approval is received in the US, Canada and Europe. Takeda comes to mind as a likely candidate. No doubt the Alliance will provide very good exposure for Lmnl.
In my dreams, I would also hope that one of these players will make all the linkages to the fact that Lmnl’s ivig product successfully completed Phase 3 trials, that one of Lmnl’s plasma collection facilities is in Winnipeg where Lmnl’s CMO is also located and likely manufactured the ivig used in Lmnl’s trials. A nice little partnership deal could link all these elements and breath new life into Lmnl’ s IG programme which was controversially written off just prior to the restructure. I guess it would be too complicated but that is what dreams are made for
