Tfunds, I have no idea whether the extension to 4 September is needed, but it is better to be safe than sorry (it's a sorry enough tale as it is)..... ;-)

With regards to the bid extension - if more time means more on the table or more bidders competing, excellent. I couldn't care less if it was achieved five minutes before the existing deadline as long as the outcome is in our favour.... ;-)
