E-bay

E-bayI would like to know what the timelines are for superior bids.  It seems like the window is still open.

Is the window still open? When does it close? When is it too late to make a bid?

It seems to me that if an offeror (like a pension plan) makes an offer, then it is likely to go through because pension plans have oodles of ready cash, whereas smaller bidders do not.

If you ever used e-bay...and did some bidding, you know that there is an advantage in waiting until the last second to bid...because it prevents someone else from outbidding you.

Will that happen here?

Hence, the big question...what are the timeframes and dealines for competing bids????

Are we past the point of no return?
