RE:Copper in Short Supply Copper mines are shuttering in Peru and Chile. Some labour strikes as well. Furthermore demand is returning. Thus the reason copper prices have appreciated materially over last 3 months. We are close to 3 dollars and once we break that, I think a move up to 3.25 is likely which is the 5 year high I believe. There will of course be some ups and down but the mid to longer term chart looks good.
Technically as well things are looking a lot better. Electrification is on its way. No matter what one says or believes. In 10 years, we will see a lot of more electric cars etct etc which all need much more copper for the infrastructure. Coppers long term fundamentals are great and this is time to buy some quality juniors as that is where you will get a multi bagger in 1-3 years.
