"ISIGN MEDIA'S SAFETY ALERT MESSAGING (SAMA) SOFTWARE SOLUTION ENABLES RETIREMENT HOMES, LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES AND NURSING HOMES TO COMMUNICATE WITH PATIENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS INSTANTLY
iSign Media Solutions Inc. has expanded upon its offer to supply its safety alert messaging (SAM) software solution on a no-charge basis to address the spread of coronavirus/COVID-19 and beyond.
On March 23 iSign announced its SAM cloud-based system was being offered at no charge for a six-month period commencing April 1. While targeting the roughly 20,000 senior homes in Canada, this offer is also available to hospitals, businesses and local, provincial federal governments. The purpose of this offer is to allow for instantaneous alerts of updates, emergencies and general messages as required or requested by the system administrator.
In Canada, iSign has partnered with Corbiz Strategies to introduce SAM to its contacts at thousands of seniors homes and long-term care facilities across the country. Corbiz has arranged for a number of continuing conversations and presentations to home administrators to date, with more to be scheduled.
Currently, Corbiz is finalizing the registrations for 11 seniors facilities in Western Canada, involving 4,400 seniors and family members. Registration is currently under way for a few dozen homes in Ontario, Alberta and soon in British Columbia. While there is no obligation for a home to continue with the use of SAM beyond the six-month free use, iSign is confident that many locations will contract for the use of SAM once the no-charge period ends. iSign's fee per registrant will be in the range of $36 to $48 per annum."
Two more months of free service
Based on 36$ per registered user
Seems like 400 user base per home is a reasonable assumption on projected cost per home
$15,000 per home annual licensing fee to reduce communication time with all family members and staff on a daily basis
Even at 7500$ fee per home at 18$ per registered user
500 homes @7500$ per year fee = 3.7 million yearly reoccurring fees
Canada potential market size 20 000 homes
Usa potential market size 60,000 retirement homes
Massive scalable market
Average cost to each retirement home will be insignificant for the value it will provide to all family members and the care provider. Long term care facilities have always been a worry for families & now the care provider can disseminate clear and timely communication to help alleviate family concerns quickly.
