When they were the largest shareholder with Gemfield, they actually offloaded Faberge from PL ownership to Gemfield. This took Gemfield from profit making to loss making AND consequently lowered their share price, which gave PL the opportunity to approach with a hostile takeover bid. Now, just this year they have re-listed on the AIM, the very same exchange they previously delisted from. Obviously thinking investors have short memories.... ;-)

Quite ruthless me thinks, and not as ethical a company as they would have you believe. I hope I have got this all wrong, but I am deeply suspicious when politicians get involved and interfere in business (where they have no business). It was not that long ago that a certain Minister was crowing from his nest about having dinner with PL and IQ, and not long after PL withdraw their offer and NMX apply for CCAA.....hmm.... ;-[

So the jury is out at the moment, we will find out soon.... ;-)
