RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Should be interesting...CalAB, you conveniently missed the point I made with my answer. The Government, through IQ or other agencies will invest between 200 - 300m in this project regardless of whether retail are in this or not. So would you rather they invest that money in a private company, most likely taken over by foreign investors, or would you rather that money was in invested a public company with
tens of thousands of local tax payers as their partner?
Do you not think it would be a bit sick to wish for the former?
To be honest, I would rather the IQ (or the State) had nothing to do with this project, but I can appreciate why they would. And, if at the same time it benefits retail investors through less dilution, low interest rates etc then so be it.

What do you expect Mick, I told yopu so long ago...

What it boils down to is... as long as you get your money back, doesn't matter from where or from whom, you'll be happy! I suppose if I were in your shoes, I'd feel the same way, but I wouldn't be such a hypocrite about it... (with reference to that bullshit email of yours!)
but I am deeply suspicious when politicians get involved and interfere in business (where they have no business)
