We want other miners' stones of above average size to go through Clara so as to share the middlemen's cut between Clara and the manufacturer. Win/win (except for the middlemen).

The vast majority of stones mined in the world are less than one carat in size. Even at Karowe, where the average stone size is extremely high (about 0.5 carat), there will still be the need for assortment tenders.
