Anyone in for the "long term" probably ends up in a better place in 15 months with the FIRE.DB. You will probably end up with more shares then you have with the same dollars invested or you will make 4x your money, Both outcomes seem like a better risk/reward than the common shares over that time period. 

You do give up liquidity for what is almost certainly higher returns on a relative basis. 

No need to tell me how dumb I am, I know already.
