I was actually considering a private placement in a shrooms stock (Field Trip Health) back in 2019. In the end, I didn't pull the trigger as there was no timeline for an IPO. In hindsight, it seems like it would have printed money as the investment banks are up to their same tricks. I can't feel too bad though as the money ended up in Trulieve (TRUL.CN).
